Caryn Beck Dudley


Caryn Beck-Dudley is the former Dean of the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University. Previously, she was the dean of the College of Business at Florida State University where she held the post of dean for nine years. Beck-Dudley also held roles as dean, department head, and professor of management and human resources in the College of Business at Utah State University. Before her academic career, she was an attorney in commercial and corporate law with Van Cott, Bagley, Cornwall & McCarthy. Beck-Dudley is the recipient of numerous honors including 100 Most Influential Women in Silicon Valley, Silicon Valley Business Journal (2018). Dean Beck-Dudley graduated magna cum laude from Utah State University in political science. She received her J.D. from the University of Idaho College of Law.

Soli Cayetano

Soli Cayetano ’20 earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance at Santa Clara University with a minor in Sustainability. She was Co-President of the SCU Real Estate Association. She earned her California Real Estate License in 2018 and is a LEED Green Associate. Soli has been a tenant rep intern at Cushman & Wakefield since 2017 and serves on the Downtown Precise Plan Task Force for the City of Santa Clara. She attended Alma Heights Christian Academy in Pacifica, California.

CJ Gabbe

C.J. Gabbe is an urban planner and assistant professor in Environmental Studies & Sciences at Santa Clara University. C.J.’s research focuses on issues connected to climate change mitigation and housing affordability. His past and ongoing research relates to four key topics: (1) land use regulations and housing markets; (2) the political economy of residential growth; (3) housing and environmental quality; and (4) housing and climate change. He teaches courses related to sustainable urban planning, environmental policy, and geographic information systems (GIS). C.J. has a Ph.D. in Urban Planning from UCLA (2016), a Master of Urban Planning degree from the University of Washington (2006), and a bachelor’s degree in Planning, Public Policy, and Management from the University of Oregon (2001).

Stanford Jones

Stanford Jones P’16, P’21 is Executive Managing Director for Marcus & Millichap and Institutional Property Advisors (IPA). He has become one of the top brokers in the western United States specializing in the multifamily market. Mr. Jones is a founding member of Santa Clara University’s Real Estate Advisory Board. He also collaborates with the Housing Industry Foundation (HIF) to help individuals and families who are at risk of losing their homes by subsidizing their rent for a 12-month term in either Santa Clara or San Mateo counties. Mr. Jones graduated cum laude from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and an emphasis in Real Estate.
