The Howard S. and Alida S. Charney Hall of Law
The Howard S. and Alida S. Charney Hall of Law provides cutting-edge facilities that support the strengths of the Law School and future collaborative programs with the other academic units.
The School of Law’s new home, the Howard S. and Alida S. Charney Hall of Law, features flexible learning spaces and sophisticated classroom technology, strengthening the School’s ability to support a high-achieving student body, attract exceptional faculty, and help the school realize its goal to lead at the intersection of law, technology, business, justice, and ethics. Charney Hall demonstrates Santa Clara University’s support for the vital role lawyers play in Silicon Valley, in shaping the justice system, and in serving the greater community. The building’s location, adjacent to Lucas Hall and the home of the nationally known Leavey School of Business, and Vari Hall, home to the respected Markkula Center for Applied Ethics, encourages interdisciplinary collaboration among students. This innovative and eco-friendly building features classrooms and collaboration spaces that need donor support to reach their full, interactive potential.
